Hello! I'm Becca Gips, owner + designer of Spice Paper Designs. Spice Paper Designs was born from a love of creating pretty things. That's it, really.

In the beginning (2007!), there were lots and lots of custom wedding invitations. It was a kick to be the first impression guests received of the upcoming wedding. After having my first baby in 2010, the business transitioned to commercial graphic design work where I created logos and branding materials. Again, loved creating that first impression, but now for a business. A blank screen on my computer would turn into logos that I still see around town many years later.

In 2018, in a pivot to design for my own everyday life, this next iteration of the business was launched. We don't have to wait for a special occasion to have beautiful paper goods. I am delighted every time I seal an envelope with my cheery address sticker. Grocery lists get an upgrade with a charming and colorful notepad. I love seeing my notebook (where I write down everything!) sitting next to my computer every day. Every. Day. So, that, my friends, is what is happening here. Just pretty things for plain 'ole life.
